Çağıl Şahin

Çağıl joined to GSG Attorneys at Law team in 2004 after completing her legal internship.  Çağıl has participated in many Corporate Law, Foreign Capital Legislation, Insurance Law, Labour Law, and merger and acquisition projects. She has run merger and acquisition, legal analysis, and establishment of branch and liaison offices projects for local and international companies operating in the fields of energy, banking and finance and insurance. She has experience in company liquidation of companies, Turkish branches of foreign companies and liaison offices. She lectures at in-house and client training sessions and seminars on the New Commercial Code, Corporate Law and Labour Law.

Çağıl graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Law. She attained her LL.M. degree in Business Law from Istanbul Bilgi University Social Sciences Institute. During her LL.M studies she performed training and academic studies in the field of international private law at The Hague Academy of International Law.

Çağıl is a member of TUSIAD (Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association) and YASED (Turkey's International Investors' Association) working groups, in addition to the Istanbul Bar Association. She speaks English fluently and intermediate-level German.
