Yavuz Dayıoğlu

Yavuz joined GSG Attorneys at Law in January 2013. He worked in the legal department of PwC between the years 2008 and 2011, focusing on private legal analysis, re-structuring, and acquisitions and mergers of energy, real estate and construction companies, and has led many company structuring projects. He is experienced in commercial and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, energy law, contract law, banking and capital markets law, intellectual property law and information technology law.

Yavuz graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. He holds an LL.M. degree in Economics Law from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law, conducted academic studies in European Union Law at Brussels Vrije University and attained an LL.M. degree from Columbia University under a TEV (Turkish Education Foundation) scholarship.

He is a member of the Columbia Law School Alumni Association, the American Bar Association, the American Turkish Society, the Istanbul University Alumni Association and the Istanbul Bilgi University Alumni Association.

He is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and he is fluent in English.

He is a published author of legal textbook: “In Breach of Contract, Buyers’ Rights Especially Compensation Rights in CISG Implementation”.
