As GSG Attorneys at Law (“GSG”), our law firm which possesses the title of data controller within the scope of Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (“LPPD”), has the following explanations regarding the processing of your personal data in order to fulfill the obligation to inform arising from the Article 10 of the LPPD.
Scope, Purpose and Legal Reason for the Processing of Your Personal Data
We process your personal data within the scope of the processing conditions listed in Article 5 of the LPPD, as explained in detail below:
- Obtaining and evaluating your job application
For this purpose, your name, e-mail, company name, title, telephone number and your personal data included in your resume will be processed, through the website you applied, based on the legal reasoning of Article 5/2 (c) of the LPPD “Processing of personal data of the parties of a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract.”
- Newsletter delivery and notifying,
Your name-surname, title, company name, e-mail information will be processed within the scope of your explicit consent, for this purpose.
- Ensuring process security,
Your transaction security information collected on our website (your log records) is processed within the scope of Article 5/2-a of the LPPD, under the condition that it is expressly provided for by the laws.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data can be shared with;
- Service providers operating for mass e-mail sending,
- Lawyers and consultants to protect our rights and interests, if necessary,
- Archive company that provides services for document storage,
in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the LPPD, provided that your data security is ensured and nessary measures are taken by GSG, and if you have provided your explicit consent, will be processed through https://www.gsghukuk.com/ website server (PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP (USA) and Google systems, which has its headquarter located abroad. You may obtain information about the countries of which Google’s data centers are located from the https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/ link.
Your Rights In Accordance With Article 11 of the LPPD and Our Contact Information
As per Article 11 of the LPPD, you may exercise your rights by applying to GSG,
a) to learn whether your personal data are processed or not,
b) to demand for information as to if your personal data have been processed,
c) to learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether these personal data are used in compliance with the purpose,
d) to know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred domestic or abroad,
e) to request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any,
f) to request the erasure or destruction of your personal data in accordance with the Article 7 of the LPPD,
g) to request reporting of the operations carried out, pursuant to paragraphs (e) and (f), to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
h) to object to the occurrence of a result against yourself by analyzing the personal data processed solely through automated systems,
i) to claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
Requests for the use of the above-mentioned rights are to be submitted in writing or to the info@gsghukuk.com electronic address via the Application Form on the https://www.gsghukuk.com/tr/site-bilgisi/kisisel-verilerin-korunmasi-aydinlatma-metni/gsg-hukuk-kvk-politikasi-bilgi-formu.pdf link or with a secure electronic signature as defined in the Electronic Signature Law numbered 5070 or by using mobile signature or by using the e-mail address previously notified to the data controller by the data subject and registered in the data controller’s system, it should be sent to the address info@gsghukuk.com with the expression “Demand for Personal Data Information” in the subject section.
